Top Horror Books for Fall • September 2026
September is spooky-season pre-game. So that means there are way too many books to choose from. I will say that many of the best writers have books coming this season, however, most of them are only here in spirit.

This book was a pick that I noticed while shopping at Re-Read Used Books here in Ottawa. I’d never heard of the title before. I’m always trying to find titles or authors that are from that particular era before I started reading in the ’80s.
