I’ve snagged a few – or a dozen – books this past month. From the library book sale, a used book store I’ve wanted to check out for a while, one from Amazon and a few from Fred’s Fine Editions.
The showstoppers are the doorstoppers; three massive collectors editions of Dickens, Austen, and the Brontë sisters. When I set them aside at the book sale, a few librarians called them the ‘arm curling stack’ and they are right! So there are a few modern books, some classic horror, some true classics and five amazing extreme horror chapbooks. Some real rarities too! I didn’t get into it, but the extreme books are signed and/or limited – amazing! I feel pretty lucky when I find some gems like these out there in the wild.

As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases when you use Amazon links here. While I accept very limited and specific books for review from publishers, my reviews are honest, and I only accept books I’d have bought with my own money.
I talk horror books; extreme horror, classic, slasher, gothic, and everything in between. Helping you find the next best horror book to read is the goal, and sharing new and old horror from my shelves and new releases is how! Horror, nonfiction and even true crime can be found here as I find that human beings are the scariest thing of all.
