The Richard Laymon readathon, #readingandrumps has come and gone. I had so much fun that I look forward to next year. It also inspired my next video where I decided to recount all of my extreme horror books. More next week. So far this year I have read 33 books; 9 in June alone. That is a lot for me!
I owe this to experimenting with audiobooks and also joining the readathon. Both lent to six of those nine books! While I am not going ‘all in’ on readathons, I will be reading along with RGsDevilship in All-In August and picking one author to read for the whole month. In July, I have a few books to read and two non-fiction books. One of which is from the library – The 90s Teen Horror Cycle by Alexandra West – and ties in with the recent Dead Air episodes on The Faculty and I Know What You Did Last Summer. That last one was based on a 1973 novel of the same name; and that was news to me!
