Seeing the success of a show like Wednesday on Netflix, and the resurgence of dreary horror and grimdark going kinda-sorta mainstream now, I feel my work is a lot easier to position than it was when it all first came out.
It’s also rekindled my excitement about writing; or at least, as excited as I get about anything. Once thing I have been very excited about is the sequel to Nightface. While I spent November drafting a different novel entirely, it served as a good break from Nightface 2. More news on that soon.
In the meantime, enjoy some of my most varied work. Stories from the first two were touted as ‘modern-day Shirley Jackson’ and “intriguing and terrifying”.
